Founded in 1959, CIAL is the leading and award-winning school of Portuguese as a foreign language in Lisbon.
You will find us in a historical building in one of Lisbon´s most charming and central neighborhoods. The ideal location to learn the language and explore the city, minutes away from the historical centre, main landmarks and the Tagus river.
With easy access by all types of public transportation, CIAL has 13 classrooms and is equipped with TVs, tablets and computers. There is a student lounge, balcony, kitchen area and free access to the Internet (computers and Wifi).

Lisbon’s International Airport, the main railway stations and the central Bus station are only 15 minutes away by taxi or by bus.
Lisbon is approx. 280 Km from Faro and students can combine both cities in the same course for a multi-city experience.
